Sandee is a year to year-and-a-half-old spayed hound mix, tipping the scale at around 55 pounds. She’s both house and kennel trained, and she shines on car rides—windows down and curious nose to the wind. Smart and eager for attention, Sandee doesn’t pester the resident cat in her foster home, but she shows a little too much interest in kittens, so caution is advised with the smaller crowd. She prefers to be the only dog in the home, though she may do alright with calm, non-dominant companions after slow introductions. Sandee will bark to let you know when she needs out or wants some time outside of her kennel, but she settles down for handling, even if she gets wiggly for nail trims.
