AvailablePhoenix is a male adult Pit Bull Terrier with a striking apricot and beige short coat. He is large in size and has been neutered, with his vaccinations up to date. About Phoenix
Your new best friend is just one click away. Phoenix was rescued in the nick of time from a dire situation, having endured severe abuse and neglect for much of his early life. Since coming to the rescue, he has formed a strong bond with just one caregiver and finds it challenging to trust new people. Phoenix struggles with other male dogs and dominant females, often getting overly anxious and unsettled in their presence. This boy needs a compassionate and patient soul who can spend plenty of dedicated time helping him gain confidence and rediscover how wonderful people can be. Because our volunteers are stretched thin, it's clear Phoenix hasn't yet had the one-on-one attention he craves. If you believe you can be the understanding hero he's looking for, Phoenix is waiting to be given a real chance at happiness. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
