About Tig
Tig, born in March (a classic Pisces—gentle and intuitive), is that rare mix of playful spirit and old soul. Staff at the rescue rave about him, and it’s easy to see why. Dumped in a rural area as a puppy with his sisters, both of whom found homes long ago, Tig has been patiently waiting for his turn. At first, Tig might seem shy, hanging back before letting new people into his circle. Given a little time, though, he’s eager for all the affection he can get: loyal, loving, and happiest at your side. He gets the zoomies for puzzle bowls and a good romp, especially when he can top it off with some solid booty scratches. Tig is a large, white and reddish pointer mix with a soft short coat that doesn’t require much upkeep. He’s house trained, neutered, and current on vaccinations. He does well with children and can get along with dogs, but he’s a bit choosy so any canine introductions should be slow and supervised. Tig hasn’t yet been fully tested with cats, but that can be arranged if needed. Tig is searching for a patient adopter who’ll appreciate the way he quietly blossoms into a loyal companion.
