Handsome guy Huckleberry is a big boy with an even bigger heart and tons of love to give! (Estimated DOB September 2020). He was found rurally and was in danger of being shot in the area. He needed a safe place to land quickly. He couldn’t use his back leg and needed to have femoral head surgery to make sure he could live a life free of pain. His surgery was successful but because of the extent of his previous injury, he still requires regular activity and exercise to keep his leg nice and strong! Huckleberry is a super strong and active boy and needs an equally active family who is ready to romp, walk, play, and wrestle! As long as after all the playtime they’re ready for lots of love and snuggles, that is! Huckleberry is a goofy boy with a bit of an ornery side who always keeps us laughing and wondering what shenanigans he will get into next! Handsome Huck is currently untested with cats, but we would be happy to cat test him for any interested suitors; he would need to meet any canine friends before adoption.
