Preston is a big, gentle giant who came into the rescue after his previous owners didn’t come for him. He tips the scales at over 100 lbs and is a mix of Anatolian Shepherd and possibly Pyrenees or yellow Lab. Preston is friendly, quiet, and good-natured. He does well with other dogs in general, but really prefers to be the only dog in the home. He chases cats, so a feline-free household is best. Preston can climb a 6-foot kennel, so he requires a secure, well-fenced yard to keep him safely contained. He’s crate trained and does fine on a leash, never pulling or tugging, and has a calm, easygoing presence, though he’s still energetic and puppy-spirited.
