Candy’s resilience shines through her loving nature, as she overcame a difficult start to life outdoors and miraculously survived being shot with a pellet gun. Because of her history, she can be wary in new places or with unfamiliar people, but with patience and a calm environment, she quickly blossoms into a true lap cat and a loyal best friend. She will do best in a home where her adopter understands her need for gentle decompression and is committed to helping her build trust. Candy is a chatty, smart, and playful girl, but she needs to be the only cat in her new home. While she doesn't care for feline roommates, she can co-exist with calm dogs.
