About Myrtle

Meet Myrtle, your new cuddliest friend! Once she warms up to you, she will delight you with loud purrs, showing just how much she loves your company. Perfect for a cozy night of Netflix or crafting, she can snuggle in your lap without bothering your yarn as you knit. This special cat craves companionship and would love to be carried around or sit on your lap. Myrtle was found outdoors in January 2021, just a year old, with an injured leg. Rescued and adopted, she recently came back to the shelter following a severe vestibular episode. Myrtle needs an adopter who’s ready to take it slow and work with her comfort levels. She may take a little time to adjust, but once she does, expect her to greet you with adorable chirps and head butts of joy. Currently, she takes oral medication twice daily without fuss. She would do well in a home with other gentle cats but dreams of being the only pet, soaking up all the attention from her humans. Due to her balance issues, she requires a home with no stairs, where she can roam freely on one level. Ready to give Myrtle the loving home she deserves? Click apply to start the adoption process.
