Adorable, adoptable Nala recently came to us from RACC and we are learning more about her each day. Report back in the next few weeks to get an update on her personality and training status! ------------------------------------------------------------ Through partnerships with the Virginia Department of Corrections, FETCH a Cure's Pixie's Pen Pals program places homeless dogs in the care of incarcerated people for dedicated, individualized training and socialization guided by canine behavior specialists. Nala has been living and working with the women at Fluvanna Correctional Center since December 11th, 2024. Nala will be ready to find her forever family later this summer after completing her Canine Good Citizen test and working toward other training goals with her handlers at Fluvanna Correctional Center.
