About Shirley
Shirley is a 10-month-old grey tabby domestic short hair who came to the rescue with her sister Laverne from a multi-cat household. She started out shy but not fearful, cautious with new experiences. After a panicky reaction to being vaccinated, Shirley became harder to approach and prefers to keep her distance from new people. Still, she’s warming up in her foster home and is showing her gentle side, coming up for occasional pets, especially with her foster dad. Shirley needs a patient adopter who will give her time and space to come out of her shell—she’s still building confidence. She’s spayed, microchipped, tested, and up to date on vaccines. Shirley is in a foster home in Grand Rapids, MI, and ready to find someone who understands sensitive cats. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
