About Eli
Eli is a seven-year-old male black and brown tabby with short hair and a big-hearted personality. Found as a stray a few years ago, Eli knows how to appreciate a cozy home—he adores being picked up, carried around, and sleeping right on your pillow. He's neutered, microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Eli is exceptionally friendly, often described as the most affectionate cat his foster has ever met. He's also litter box and litter robot trained. Due to a kidney blockage in his past, Eli now receives daily subcutaneous fluids (which he handles calmly) and eats prescription kidney care food. Maintenance costs and care for Eli are manageable for most adopters, especially those with some experience or comfort administering fluids. He doesn’t get along well with all other cats and would do best as an only cat, or possibly with another calm, accepting feline. Because of his background as a stray and his tendency to dash for open doors, Eli should not be placed with small children or dogs. He currently lives in one room away from other cats and deserves a home where he can enjoy more space and attention. Eli is a Libra: always striving for balance and harmony in his home life.
