About Sparky
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Sparky, a spirited senior Chihuahua who radiates the wild energy of a toddler on a sugar rush and the boldness of a soap opera villain. If you’re searching for a dog who is as adorable as he is quirky, Sparky may be your perfect match. With about five teeth remaining, he’s known for making amusing mouth noises and giving the most enthusiastic, if sloppy, kisses. Sparky is profoundly dedicated to food, and a chicken nugget could win his heart instantly. His best friend and constant companion is a large Olaf stuffed toy—a true love affair! Sparky’s favorite pastime is burrowing beneath blankets, so if you can’t find him, look for a lumpy spot under the covers. He’s a bit of a territorial marker but is learning to rock a belly band in style. Nail trims are not his favorite and he values his boundaries, transforming into a tiny force of nature if you try to clip his nails. Utterly charming with his big, expressive eyes and small size, Sparky brings a mix of eccentric antics and affectionate moments to your life. He thrives in a home that appreciates a little bit of unfiltered chaos with a lot of love. Sparky is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative, ready to find the devoted adopter he deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Sparky
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chihuahuas are well-suited for apartments or small homes due to their small size. They thrive best in environments where they can spend most of their time with people and are protected from the elements.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chihuahuas do not require a large amount of outdoor space and can adapt well to homes without a backyard, as long as they get daily walks and playtime.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Chihuahuas can do well with older, respectful children. Their small size makes them vulnerable to injury, so supervision is important around younger kids.
