Treasure is a brindle, wire-coated Lurcher in her senior years, currently living in Indianapolis, IN. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and house trained. Treasure has special medical needs due to cancerous mammary masses requiring ongoing monitoring and care. She is looking for a comfortable home where she can relax and enjoy her retirement.

About Treasure

Treasure is an older Lurcher looking for peace and gentleness after years spent raising litter after litter in harsh conditions. She’s about eight, and while she can seem shy, her personality warms up beautifully with a bit of patience. Treasure lives with mammary tumors that are likely to progress. The most burdensome were removed to ensure her comfort; the remainder will be monitored. Rather than focus on complex surgeries, the goal now is to give her time that’s easy and full of care. She’s spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, dewormed, microchipped, and protected with flea and heartworm prevention. Treasure is fully house trained. She gets along with respectful dogs but isn’t a fit for homes with children. Mostly, she’s after a retirement where softness rules the day and she’s loved for who she is.
