For applicants with a prior pet, a veterinary reference is required, and if not, a purchase of three months’ heartworm prevention may be requested. Renters need to verify lease pet permissions. As a special bonus, Izzy is eligible for the Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program, offering up to $300 per year for veterinary care for the rest of her life.
