About Cajun

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Cajun: this resilient and loving cat has overcome a lot in his young life and is now hoping to find a patient, caring forever family. Arriving at the shelter skinny and with partial ear loss from frostbite, Cajun battled severe gastric issues that took months to diagnose. Through careful veterinary care, he was found to have Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD), which means he will need to stay on sensitive stomach food, along with daily steroids and weekly B12 injections for life. Even after all he has been through, Cajun is incredibly affectionate and sweet—he adores being held, snuggled, and entertained with plenty of toys. Cajun needs an adopter dedicated to maintaining his medication and specialized diet. He gets along with calm dogs and some cats at the shelter and, with his gentle temperament, would do well in a home with kids. If you are ready to give Cajun the love and stability he truly deserves, he will return it tenfold with endless cuddles and affection. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
