About Watson
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Watson is a true gentleman with a heart full of love and resilience. After his previous owner, who was expecting, could no longer care for him, Watson found himself in a difficult situation. At eight years old, he faced an uncertain future but never lost his mild and affectionate spirit. Despite having experienced some hard times, he has shown remarkable strength and quickly became a beloved foster at the rescue. This handsome Treeing Walker Coonhound sports a beautiful tri-color coat and an inquisitive nature, always eager to explore the world with his nose leading the way. Watson’s gentle disposition shines through, though he may be a bit shy when meeting new people at first. With a little patience, he becomes a loyal and affectionate companion, turning into the perfect lovebug for the right family. Best suited for an active adult household, Watson will benefit from a consistent training and exercise routine to satisfy his hound instincts and keep him content. He is currently at a healthy, lean weight of 55 pounds, and in excellent health. Watson is house trained and crate trained, but as he transitions to his new home, a little patience with occasional accidents will be helpful. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations and health checks. Ready to give Watson the loving home he deserves? Make their next chapter their best one yet.
