About Cooper
Cooper is a big-hearted, energetic companion who loves a good adventure almost as much as he loves curling up at your feet. At five years old, he's a healthy and resilient Pit Bull/Labrador mix with short tan and white fur and plenty of life ahead of him. Cooper grew up as a cherished family member and has lived harmoniously with another dog and a cat (though he wishes the cat were more playful). If you’re looking for a playful, loyal friend who never misses a chance to greet guests or romp in the yard, Cooper could be your match. He can be a little exuberant—and will jump up to meet new people and may play rough with canine pals—so a home with older kids is a better fit. Cooper’s working on his manners and knows basic commands like “sit,” “lay,” “shake,” and is progressing nicely with place training. After he’s had a chance to burn off energy outside, he’s the ultimate snuggle buddy, happy to cozy up on the bed or join you for a Netflix binge. He’d thrive outside city life, somewhere rural or less busy, where distractions are fewer and daily adventures are part of life. Cooper is neutered, up to date on vaccines, house trained, and looking for someone who appreciates both his excitement and his softer side. His family wants the best for him and hopes his next chapter brings the same love he’s always known. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
