He is classified as medium-sized and has a tan coat with a distinct white chest and belly. Wero gets along well with children and other dogs but should go to a cat-free home. He will require some house training as he’s lived most of his life outdoors, but his friendly, affectionate nature makes him a promising companion for the right person or family.
About Wero
Wero is a 2-year-old pocket pit bull with a tan coat and a splash of white on his chest and belly. Alongside his two siblings, he was abandoned as a puppy at a vet's office in Tijuana, and despite years of waiting under rescue care, he’s never been picked. With his rescue now closing, Wero’s need for a home is urgent. Small for his breed at just 35 pounds, Wero brings that classic pit bull loyalty and affection but is easier to handle thanks to his size. He’s energetic, loves to jump and play, and he’d thrive with an active person or family who enjoys being outdoors. Wero is neutered, gets along well with children and other dogs, and is always happy to greet new faces. He does need a cat-free home. Having always lived outside, Wero will need some house and obedience training, but he’s eager to learn and aims to please. Ready to bring fun and adventure into your life, Wero can even travel as far as Los Angeles for the right adopter. Make his long wait worth it—he’s ready for a real home. What are you waiting for?
