About Ozzie
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Ozzy's journey began in the desert of Phelan, sharing the harsh landscape with over twenty other stray or abandoned dogs. Thanks to the dedication of a compassionate couple and caring fosters, Ozzy found safety and the chance to thrive. After being one of the last from his original group to find refuge, he settled into foster care where he quickly showed his outstanding temperament. Now living comfortably indoors, Ozzy displays excellent house manners and is reliably house trained. Mornings are brightened with his joyful zoomies, and he delights in both car rides and walks—he’s an enthusiastic walker and does well on a leash. Despite his rough start, this short-coated, tricolor (brown, black, & white) boy has proven to be affectionate and friendly, loving the company of people and other dogs alike. At about 68 pounds and around 7–8 years old, Ozzy’s vetting is fully up to date, including dental work, neuter, blood work, and vaccines. He currently awaits his forever home while being lovingly fostered in Riverside. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
