About Scoobbear
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Say hello to this handsome fellow Scoobbear! Scoobbear has spent the last couple of years hoping for his own forever family, after his start out on the streets. As a big, black dog, he tends to get overlooked, but he's been working hard to be his very best self and overcome his fears in public. Once extremely vocal around vehicles and skateboarders, he's made great progress and learned to be calmer in new environments. Scoobbear enjoys meeting people and, after a short adjustment period, is social with other dogs, especially when given time to relax. He's eager to learn and looks forward to finding a person he can bond with—someone who can help him continue to grow. It’s important for his new family to understand that he feels most comfortable when he trusts his people; patience is key. Adventurous families who love hikes would be perfect for him! Due to his size and ongoing training, homes without small children or cats are best. All he needs is a chance to blossom into the loving companion he wants to be. Scoobbear is already neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He's been patiently waiting and is ready to find his forever family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
