About Rosie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Rosie is the perfect mix of love, loyalty, and spunk, brimming with a big personality that’s apparent in every interaction. She’s wonderfully expressive and affectionate—nudging for attention, curling up beside you on the couch, or squeezing between your legs for a stand-up snuggle-hug. Rosie is known for her unique Scooby-Doo-style chatter when she’s got thoughts to share, adding plenty of character and charm. Smart and eager to please, she picked up “sit” right away and responds beautifully to food or affectionate praise. House trained and able to hold her bladder all day, Rosie is trustworthy when left loose inside the home. She enjoys outings and playtime at the dog park, although she likes to be in charge and occasionally resource guards her food, water, or toys. Because of this, Rosie will thrive with an experienced owner familiar with setting appropriate boundaries. She’ll do best in a home without cats and with children over 10, as she’s protective of her family and tends to get mouthy during play. Rosie has a voice to match her heart—she’ll bark to alert you of visitors and keen for a few minutes when left alone, so she’s best in a home where her vocal nature isn’t an issue. Her bold bark also makes her a wonderful walking companion. Rosie is almost finished with her heartworm treatment and is just about ready to shower her forever home with all the warm, wiggly love and fun she has to give. She adores playing and being active. As an unofficial canine karaoke champion, apartment life isn’t ideal for her. A fenced yard is preferred so she can romp safely to her heart’s content. Found as a young, starving mother trying to care for her four puppies, all of whom have since been adopted, Rosie truly deserves her own chance at happiness. Now, it’s mama’s turn for her happily ever after! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
