Meet Sid! Known as Balboa at the Yucca Valley Animal Shelter, he was renamed for his striking resemblance to Sid the Sloth from Ice Age. Sid came to YVAS five months ago after a tough encounter with another dog. He received prompt veterinary care, had drains placed, and has since made a noteworthy recovery. Now that he’s at Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter, Sid is truly thriving. His friendly demeanor makes him a joy to be around, and he seems to get along well with other dogs and children. He’s relaxed, showing no signs of kennel stress, which is a great sign for his adaptability. With a heart as big as his smile, Sid is ready to bring love and laughter into a new home.
