About Smokey
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Smokey is a striking, young Doberman Pinscher with a classic black coat, a docked tail, and cropped ears that do not stand. Sadly, after losing his dedicated breeder-owner to illness, Smokey hasn’t received the energetic engagement a young Doberman thrives on. He is a true lover of people, though his considerable size, playful energy, and affectionate personality can be a bit much in moments—making an active, Doberman-experienced home essential. This vibrant dog is crate-trained, well-mannered, and eager to please, showing promise for further training in the right hands. Born in September 2020, Smokey has plenty of youthful energy and just needs someone committed to guiding him as he explores the world. If you’re ready for an adventure partner and understand the needs of spirited Dobermans, Smokey could be the awesome companion you’ve been searching for. Adoption is open throughout California and surrounding states. Fun fact: With a birthday on September 11, Smokey is a Virgo and may surprise you with his loyalty and attentive nature! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
