About Red
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Introducing Red, affectionately known as BIG RED for his long, lean frame and the striking presence of a well-muscled, elegant red thoroughbred. This handsome hunk was once a stray, but now he impresses everyone as a sweet and distinguished senior gentleman. His captivating amber eyes make him quite irresistible, and the touch of grey at his muzzle and his slight limp add to his charm. Red is incredibly mellow and chill, showing deep loyalty to his person. He is sociable with both people and other dogs, though he is looking for a cat-free home. Red relishes head scratches, belly rubs, and will gently nudge you to claim his spot on the recliner or couch beside you—after all, people beds are far preferable to dog beds in his opinion! He adores basking in the sun and enjoys mornings checking the perimeter before stretching out quietly indoors or relaxing on the deck with the family. His DNA hints at an eclectic heritage, but above all, he is 100% a cool dog. At about 8 years old and weighing around 55 pounds, Red is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and parasite free—everything you could ask for in your new canine companion. Fun fact: with a late-November birthday, Red is a Sagittarius, making him adventurous and affectionate at heart. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
