About Red
Meet Red, or as some call him, Big Red. He’s a long, lean, reddish gent built like a thoroughbred—strong, athletic, and every bit as dignified as he looks. Found abandoned along a rural road, Red has picked up a few badges of character along the way—a little grey on his muzzle, a soft limp, and those deep amber eyes that see right through you. He’s mellow most of the day, finds people easy to trust, and loyally sticks close to his chosen person. Friendly with other dogs and happy to greet new people, but absolutely no cats—Red has made up his mind on that. He loves a good head scratch, will flip for a belly rub, and has his own opinions on beds (he’s convinced yours is better than any dog bed). Expect him to follow the sun around the house or claim your favorite chair if you give him half a chance. After his morning check around the yard, Red is perfectly happy lounging inside or soaking up the sun on the porch. DNA reveals a little of everything, but in spirit, he’s pure heart.
