About Tyson
Tyson’s had a rough start, but nothing has taken away his huge spirit. Found as a puppy with a badly injured leg, he bounced back from amputation with the kind of tenacity that says he’s not looking for pity, just a good spot on your couch. Tyson is a Great Pyrenees and heeler mix, about 60 lbs, and built solid despite only having three legs—being short a paw hasn’t slowed him down at all. After five years in a loving home, life shifted for his family and now he’s ready for a new chapter with adopters who can match his energy and commitment. He’s loyal, endlessly affectionate, and happiest right by your side. Tyson does not do best around small children, so he’s looking for a home with adults or older kids. Playtime, walks, couch-potato sessions—Tyson will be first in line. He’s a daily reminder that dogs don’t dwell on setbacks; they just keep moving forward, loving harder.
