Marco Is Available For Adoption! This sweet & friendly little happy house hippo is looking to meet his new family. During his "daycation" from the shelter before being placed in foster care, he enjoyed going for a run & then lounging at a local dog-friendly coffee shop. He LOVED meeting new friends! He's a sweet, sweet dog who loves people of all ages. He's very gentle & great with kids. He's also described as a happy dog who smiles a lot. His goofiness is charming! He's also obedient, potty trained & crate trained. He knows "sit" & he loves treats. He plays well with other medium & larger dogs. He loves belly rubs, affection & snuggles. He just wants to please & be loved. ❤️🐾🐾 🐕‍🦺Marco walks well on a leash, but he's very strong for his size (he is all muscle.) He's very calm in a crate. He enjoys playing with toys & chewing on a bone. He's not used to sharing his food, so he is usually fed separately from his foster siblings. Marco is still a bit underweight at 50 lbs. Resource guarding his food is understandable as he's obviously gone hungry before.😌 Marco is approximately 2 yrs old. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, & microchipped. He's current on heartworm prevention & flea prevention. He's an addorable pittie mix with a short black coat.
