About Timmy

Timmy arrived at just 11 months old, but much smaller than expected for his age. He lives with neurologic challenges affecting his ability to walk and stand; when moving forward, his body turns sideways, and he sometimes struggles to stay upright—especially if placed on his left side. His home feeds him a specialized diet of mashed foods and small kibble throughout the day to help him gain weight and prevent choking. Feeding him is hands-on and takes patience: each session lasts about 30 minutes, requiring someone nearby to keep him comfortable and calm. Timmy is thin but gaining strength, recently reaching 6.2 pounds. His vet team continues to investigate his medical condition, including possible liver issues, and he’ll be neutered when it’s safe. Above all, Timmy is gentle and sweet, looking for a patient adopter ready to provide the special care and attention he needs. He gets along with other dogs and will thrive in a calm, loving home ready to go the extra mile for him. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
