About Mango
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Miss Mango, a gentle Bichon Frise who has blossomed since she first arrived at DASH with two fellow Bichons after spending her whole life in a shed. Mango was once incredibly shy due to her lack of early socialization, but after nearly two years in a loving foster home, she has made remarkable progress—though she remains a reserved soul. She enjoys simply being near her foster mom, preferring calm moments in the same room or relaxing outside in a fenced yard. Mango gets along well with other dogs in the foster home, but she isn't particularly playful or interested in toys, valuing her own space and contentment in her cozy dog bed or crate, which she regards as her safe space. Instead of being a lap dog, Mango offers her quiet presence and will allow some affectionate moments, especially if cheese is offered! She does wonderfully at the groomer’s and willingly lets her foster mom pick her up to be brushed. This sweet girl will need a patient adopter who understands she is still discovering that the world can be a loving, safe place. With continued care and kindness, her adopter will be rewarded by glimpses of her playful and loving side. Mango is ready to find a forever family willing to give her the time and security she needs. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
