About Bodie

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Bodie! He joined DASH as an owner surrender after it became clear that life with small children wasn't the perfect fit for him. His former family made this difficult choice because they wanted Bodie to have the happy, relaxed home he deserves. Currently, Bodie is thriving in the DASH Prison Program, where his handler has commended him for already mastering all his basic commands—he's just getting a little extra polish now. This smart pup is fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. While he can be cautious when first meeting new dogs or people, he quickly warms up and becomes playful and affectionate, enjoying both active playtime and moments to chill. Bodie is at his best with older children and will need regular grooming, so his new family should be comfortable with that commitment. While he hasn't been tested with cats, thoughtful introductions would be important if you have feline family members. Bodie is a loving, well-rounded companion ready to bring joy to any family prepared to give him a forever home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
