Stitch is a good-natured brindle boy who has a real weakness for Kongs, soft blankets, and getting as close to you as possible—preferably curled up in your lap. He’s housebroken and uses bells to let you know when it’s time to go out. Stitch’s energy ramps up around people of all ages, and his enthusiasm extends to any shoes you leave unguarded—stash them or risk losing a pair. This guy takes his role as watchdog seriously, especially when younger humans are outside and he’s been left behind. He’ll make sure you know if anything seems off, whether it’s a delivery or animal near your home. Out on walks, Stitch is reliably leash-trained, though his prey drive means he shouldn’t be around small animals or at dog parks. He’s OK with dogs his own size—but play can get pretty intense, and he’s protective of his favorite lounging spots. Clear boundaries are a must. Stitch knows how to sit and shake for treats, but anything on your dinner plate is fair game if you’re not careful. He’s house trained, kennel trained, and would do best with someone willing to reinforce his training and provide structure. Bath time with Stitch is always an event—be prepared to get wet.
