About Hunter
Hunter is a large German Shepherd Dog who came in from the desert, completely feral and unfamiliar with people. For weeks, he kept his distance, watching quietly but never threatening anyone. The rescue had to trap him to bring him in, risking the fragile trust he’d started to show. Even when frightened, Hunter stayed gentle and never tried to lash out, proving his deep patience and kind nature. Since arriving, Hunter has made tremendous progress. He has slowly shifted from hiding in the back of his kennel to seeking out human attention, enjoying pets, and learning how much fun toys and splashing in his little pool can be. He now asks for cuddles and enjoys the company of people, showing real resilience and a drive to bond. Hunter needs a patient, understanding adopter—someone willing to give him time to keep growing in confidence at his own pace. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
