About Maverick

Maverick is a striking two-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix boasting icy blue eyes. He came to us from a difficult past—having been injured by an older child—but his spirit remains unbroken. Despite that, Maverick is friendly to everyone he meets. This lean, athletic boy enjoys car rides, walks, and playtime with his friends, as well as having chew toys for entertainment. Maverick is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a new home. He thrives around other dogs but would also be content as the sole pet in a household. While he is deaf, he understands several signs and is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He fits well with children, although a home without small kids might be best due to play items possibly getting mixed up. With a soft yet lively personality, Maverick is sure to make an excellent companion. Ready to make this sweet boy part of your family? Apply today!
