Adopt Percy!🐾 This sweet guy is a professional couch lounger who loves long naps — but don’t be fooled, he’s always up for playtime too! He’s a strong boy who goes crazy for balls of all kinds (tennis, chewy, soccer — if it can be fetched, he’s in) and enjoys a good game of tug. He’s a dedicated chewer, so supervision is important, especially since he can chew through leashes and has a bit of separation anxiety. He’s affectionate, adorable, and absolutely loves companionship — especially with other dogs. He’s best buds with a female dog and they happily share naps on the couch together. While he may be a bit of a slowpoke when it comes to processing things (which just adds to his charm 😁), he’s very alert and makes a great guard dog, always aware when someone’s at the door. Loud noises like fireworks or loud music really scare him, but he loves car rides with the windows down. He does best in a house with a backyard or an apartment with an adopter committed to frequent walks, as he needs to urinate often due to medication. He cannot be left unsupervised outside and cannot climb stairs, so a ground-level home is required. He’s great with adults; his experience with kids, small dogs, and small animals is currently unknown.
