Burrnard came from a homeless camp where he was among many homeless cats. It was cold and raining and he had an abscessed wound when we rescued him. After examination, the vet determined that he needed dental surgery as well because his teeth were a mess and he was in quite a bit of discomfort. The dental procedure has been done and he is really enjoying life now. Burrnard is a timid but very sweet cat. He’s still adjusting to indoor life after fighting on the street for most of his life. He spends his days napping in his favorite spots. He would do best in a home with no dogs, for now, or just be patient with him. Older dogs that don’t chase would be fine. He likes to play with other cats from time to time, usually in the morning after breakfast, but then it’s nap time. HOWEVER, he has really bonded with a kitten that looks almost like him. Her name is Biscotti and they really like each other. We are looking to place them together. He will ask for pets by gently tapping your arm. He likes to snuggle but he will approach you for snuggles when he wants them. And he has the cutest little face!
