Maxie is a young, large mixed-breed Pit Bull Terrier with a short, rich red-brindle and white coat. She came in as a stray from East Liverpool and quickly made an impression at the shelter with her sweet, affectionate nature. Maxie gets along well with people and has done well around other dogs. While she keeps her kennel very clean and seems eager to please, she hasn’t had consistent house training yet, so she’ll need patience and structure to learn her new routine at home. She isn’t currently listed as having any special medical needs and has been spayed. All of her vaccinations are up to date. Because she’s only had life at the shelter for a while, she will thrive with someone who can offer her guidance, consistency, and a loving environment.
