Oakley is the most classic "Guys guy", He's fun, confident, and very friendly! This guy has been at CGHS for over a year now which is crazy considering he is a very neutral and nonchalant dude. Oakley has been used for introductions with new dogs, pack walks, and stays calm in kennels even next to the craziest of dogs. He does great on a leash & harness and goes for a new adventure with his favorite volunteer every week. This guy was made for hiking, long walks, and maybe with some really good training biking. Oakley can be a very playful guy sometimes and does have a habit of doing some puppy behaviors. He really enjoys tugging and chewing anything rope (or toy) like, this can be slip leads, some leashes, and occasionally clothing so be ready for basic manner training. He's been working on not playing tug with his leashes, we have switched him to be walked with a chain leash and we always carry a rope toy on us should he get in the mood to be playful. With all his goofy antics aside he really is a chill neutral dog that has so much potential to be a great adventure buddy who will definitely give you a workout, so if you happen to also be in the market for a tug-o-war buddy look no further!
