About Nova

Nova is a striking 4-year-old Shepherd who brings warmth, devotion, and plenty of spark everywhere she goes. She thrives on affection—hugs, kisses, and belly rubs are her favorites—and she doesn’t shy away from showing her love to people of all ages. Nova is the ultimate road trip companion and always eager to hop in for truck or SUV rides. She craves time outdoors, loving play sessions and big open spaces, especially off-leash parks where she can leap and run to her heart’s content. Strong and bright, Nova has a high-spirited nature. Her leash manners still need work, so she needs a committed adopter who’s ready to help her continue learning. She gets along well with male dogs but is choosier around females. Nova is most comfortable in homes with yards and outdoor access. Apartments with lots of stairs aren’t ideal for her. Nova can be sensitive to loud noises and sometimes withdraws if anxious, and she isn’t fond of nighttime walks. Right now, she’s about 7 lbs overweight, but her vet says she’s otherwise fit and healthy. She’s fully spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—including rabies and parvo. Nova is searching for a home where she will have space, patience for her quirks, and all the affection she deserves. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
