About Rosemary
Your new best friend is just one click away. Rosemary is a 6 1/2 year old large mountain dog mix who was taken in as a lost dog. When she first arrived, she experienced several seizures that required immediate care. Thanks to timely treatment and ongoing medication, Rosemary hasn't had any more seizures, and her medical team is thoughtfully adjusting her medication to see if she will need it long-term. In addition, she has tested positive for Lyme disease and heartworm, both of which are being actively treated at the shelter. Rosemary is truly a gentle soul—she is calm, quiet, and incredibly sweet. She loves going for walks, knows how to sit, is attentive to those around her, and takes treats oh-so-gently. She brings a sense of peace wherever she goes and is sure to be a loving companion. Rosemary's adoption fee helps cover her spay, vaccinations, regular preventives, microchip, and excellent care during her stay at Clay County Humane Society. Her additional medical care—such as seizure, Lyme, or heartworm medications—is not covered by the adoption fee, but the rescue is dedicated to supporting her through it all.
