About Gilby

Gilby, a 2-year-old mixed breed with Shepherd roots, has had a bumpy road finding his place. He came to the rescue as a puppy after being abandoned with his litter. Over time, he's been adopted and returned twice—once because of allergies in the home, and most recently because things just didn't click. Despite all this, Gilby remains the Hulk of his group—a big, gentle love bug. He’s friendly and playful but has a calm, self-reliant streak too. Gilby’s easily trainable, already knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, stop, out), and handles both leash and off-leash walks with ease. Crate trained and housebroken, he also adores ball toys. His previous adopters describe him as loving and steady. Gilby needs to be the only pet in the house and would do best with teens and adults—kids over 16 only. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a stable, loving home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
