About Hazel
Hazel is a lively 4 1/2-year-old mixed breed with boundless energy. She was picked up as a stray and hasn’t slowed down since. Hazel lives for playtime and seems to have endless stamina—she would be an ideal running or hiking buddy once she learns a bit more leash etiquette. She’s all about treats and is smart enough to connect rewards with good behavior, already knowing how to sit and wait (especially if there’s a snack involved). Hazel is house broken and enjoys the company of other dogs, so an active, social household would be a great match. She’ll thrive if given both physical and mental challenges, and will happily join you for adventures. Her adoption fee helps cover her spay, up-to-date vaccinations, and regular preventives while at the Clay County Humane Society. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
