About Lucy
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Taryn – sweet, shy, and bursting with potential. At 1.5 years old, this mixed breed terrier has a moderate to high energy level and loves having daily exercise in her routine. She’s shy around new people at first, but once she knows you, her loyalty and affectionate side shine through. In her foster home, Taryn has proven to be an intelligent, eager-to-please companion who responds wonderfully to gentle guidance. Taryn enjoys playing and snuggling with her foster siblings—she gets along especially well with other friendly medium and large dogs and thrives when they’re around. She’s well-behaved indoors, adapts quickly, and even uses the doggy door like a pro. Whether she’s hiking, swimming, or relaxing by your side, Taryn can match your pace and settle in comfortably at the end of a fun day. Her foster describes her as “sweet and just wanting to be loved,” following her people and the other dogs around the house for companionship and cuddles. House-training came naturally, and she’s picked up basic commands like Sit, Come, and Leave it. Taryn is looking for a calm, loving home with an experienced adopter and another dog to help her continue to build confidence. If you have the patience to help her blossom, she’ll reward you with deep loyalty, affection, and endless companionship. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
