About Jax

Jax is a stocky brown tabby cat rescued from a condo parking garage in Hackensack, NJ, where he lived with his mother. While his mom wanted nothing to do with people, Jax, though initially wary, showed enough promise to be brought into foster care. His large paws and hefty frame hint at him growing into an impressive, big cat.  As a young adult, Jax still has some feline attitude—quick to give a hiss when unsure—but he tolerates being picked up and held. He’s making steady progress and, with time, will likely turn into a real snuggler. For now, he enjoys batting around foil balls and plastic springs, getting his energy out with toys. Jax is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and looking for a patient home that’ll help him continue to warm up. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
