About Chester
*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a dog and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a dog, after all home checks are done, the dog is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that dog. ***** All breeds listed are a best guess or based on information from our rescue partners and are not guaranteed***** ******Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL ***** Hi, Iām Chester ā Your New Best Friend! Iām a 5-year-old mixed breed with a big heart, a happy spirit, and a serious love for fetch. Seriously ā I live for it! Toss me a ball outside and Iām in heaven⦠but the best part? Iām just as good at playing fetch inside while you relax and watch Netflix. Iāve got the whole āentertain-my-human-while-they-binge-watchā thing down to a science. Iām housebroken (no messes here!), crate trained, and super comfortable free roaming around the house. Iām respectful, calm when I need to be, and always on the lookout for a cozy spot to nap near you. I love being part of the action, whether itās an outdoor adventure or just hanging out in the living room. If youāre looking for a happy, playful, loyal buddy who brings joy, laughter, and the occasional tennis ball to your life ā I might just be your perfect match. Come meet me! Iāll be the one wagging my tail and hoping you brought a ball!Ā If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Cuddles and kisses-Chester **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400-450.00, which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
