He’s treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze, and he already knows basic commands, showing he’s smart and eager to please. He is house and crate trained and dog-friendly, gentle and respectful during playtime. He enjoys playing fetch and loves car rides. He has met cats and remained pretty calm about it, though proper introductions are best. He takes treats softly, is easy to redirect, and has the best energy for an 8-year-old—playful and fun, yet he knows when to settle down. His always-smiling face and listening ears make him a joy to be around. Diesel would also be a good running or hiking buddy. He loves butt scratches and belly rubs, and he loves being with his person, eager to please and quick to learn.
