She is totally potty trained and hasn't had a single accident while in a foster home! Best of all, she loves her crate! While she has the option of a comfy bed, she often chooses her crate as her safe haven-a big plus for overnight and quiet time. Clara is EXPTREMELY treat-motivated, making her a lightning-fast learner! She is incredibly smart and loves to use her brain. On leash, she does very well and is easily managed; she has only a slight pull that's simple to control. She'd make a great medium-energy companion-she's not a spaz, but also not a couch potato, and would likely be a fun hiking partner! After a little time to settle in, Clara blossoms into an extremely affectionate and loving dog. She loves attention and will happily soak up all the cuddles you have to offer. While she can be wary of new people at first, she warms up quickly to become a friendly face. She is also dog-friendly with proper slow introductions. She's learned to love playing with the 70lb resident dog in her foster home and now they "vibe" together perfectly! Clara's favorite thing is her ball-she carries it everywhere and will play fetch until she decides she's done. Her funniest quirk? She's a total hoarder of toys! She loves to carefully dig all the toys out of the basket, one by one, and move them into her crate. Her foster says it's hilarious, keeps her busy, and makes her happy! This smart girl even understands when you tell her to "go get her ball" among the piles of her prized possessions.
