She brings moderate energy to every day, loves to learn new things, eagerly responds to treats, and is both housebroken and crate trained (though she'd much rather be by your side whenever possible). In her previous life, Pink Lady may not have received much socialization, so she still finds many things a bit scary and unfamiliar. However, her curiosity shines through, and she’s always willing to try her best—even when it comes to nail clippings, paw drying, or paw balm applications. She is initially wary of new people, which makes it a bit challenging to find someone patient enough to help her open up, but once she feels safe, she is unbelievably loyal and loving. Pink Lady knows the commands sit, paw, and lay down, and she patiently waits for an "okay" before eating or leaving the house. She's about 85% comfortable on a loose leash and is working on training for stranger and dog reactivity, with promising progress. Her playful style is forward and sometimes rough, so she’ll need slow introductions to other dogs and will likely do best in a home without small children. On walks, she has shown some prey drive, so a home without cats is probably best, though she has not been formally tested. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
