Lenore came to Cause for Paws after her owner moved away and put her and her four kittens outside to fend for themselves. Good samaritans fed them and kept them as safe as they could. They lived outside for many months. Lenore is about 3 years old, she has been felv/fiv tested negative (twice), spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Lenore has really settled down from when she first came into the safety of inside. She is a confident cat, sometimes too confident and bossy for other cats. She may be best as an only cat. She also gets along well with well mannered dogs. Lenore is playful and loves to chase all sorts of toys through the house. She does need reminders about using her scratch post and absolutely loves to climb to the top of her tall scratch posts. If you play roughly with her, she will playbite. Lenore would be best in an adult only home. Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens.
