About Clovey
Clovey is a gray-blue American Bulldog with a lot of personality packed into a medium-sized frame. She’s cuddly, energetic, and craves attention from her people. Clovey loves running in the backyard, playing with her dog friends (with slow introductions), and flopping down for cuddles once she’s worn out. She’s house trained and will wait by the door when she needs to go outside, though she’s still learning to be comfortable in a crate—separation isn’t her favorite thing. Clovey is food motivated, especially for hot dogs, and she already knows how to sit and will come when called. Stuffed toys are her jam, especially anything fuzzy from Bark Box. She hasn't been around cats or kids yet, so that's still an open question. Clovey is searching for an active family that can offer her the love and attention she thrives on—and will be patient as she continues to build confidence and skills. She’s eligible for a trial adoption for approved adopters in Ohio. Approved adopters must be at least 23 and have kids 5 or older. She’s ready to see if your family is the right fit. Questions about Clovey
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
American Bulldogs like Clovey do best in homes with space for activity, ideally with a yard or room to move around. They thrive in family environments where they can be involved with daily life.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Clovey’s breed appreciates access to a securely fenced yard for play and exercise. While daily walks help, American Bulldogs benefit from time outside to burn their energy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
