About Wally

Meet Wally! When you walk through the door, Wally is always there to greet you, ready for ankle rubs and some quiet company. He’s friendly with people he knows and prefers to take his time warming up to new faces, but once he trusts you, he happily accepts pets and attention. Wally enjoys being brushed and loves a good head-to-tail cuddle, often rolling over for tummy rubs and curling up next to you at bedtime. He also has a playful side, chasing toys on his own or with you. Wally lives with cerebellar hypoplasia, which makes his walk a bit wobbly and keeps him from jumping or climbing, but he’s otherwise just like any other loving cat. He uses a low-entry litter box and adjusts after an occasional tumble. Wally prefers to sit nearby instead of being carried, and though he hasn’t met kids, older, gentle children should be a good fit. Sudden loud noises can startle him, so a calm environment suits him best. Wally previously lived with another cat and could do well with a feline buddy if introduced slowly. After losing his family, he’s ready for a home that cares for him just as he is. If you’re away long hours, consider giving him a cat companion for company—Wally would appreciate it.
