About Mowgli
Click apply to start the adoption process. Mowgli is a remarkable nine-year-old orange and white American Shorthair with a round face, snowy white chin, chest, and feet, soft tabby stripes, pale green eyes, and adorable brown freckles on his pink nose. Intuitive and sharp, Mowgli is a big boy at around 13.5 pounds, known for both his sociability and intelligence. Though he starts out cautious, once he trusts you, Mowgli becomes exceptionally affectionate, loyal, and friendly. He delights in interactive play and loves to be near his chosen person—if you have a recliner, be ready to share it, as he’ll enjoy relaxing with you, and he’ll happily snuggle in your bed at night. An indoor companion for many years after his start outdoors, Mowgli thrives in a loving home and would especially enjoy having access to a catio for some fresh air and sunshine. He should not live with dogs or young children, and may be best as the only cat, though there’s potential for him to get along with another confident feline friend. For an adopter who loves lap cats and interactive companionship, Mowgli is sure to become a devoted presence in your life. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
