Hi! I'm Tawney, I was found on the streets with a wound on my neck and taken to the shelter. They think I might have been attacked by a dog or coyote, but luckily I'm a tough little cookie and survived the attack. Carson Cats rescued me to treat my wound, and seeing how scared and confused I was took me in to socialize. It's taken a while for me to come out of my shell, but I've slowly been showing my sweet personality to the volunteers at the rescue. I'm still very shy and still learning how to trust people, so I am looking for a quiet and patient home that can give me the love and time I need to blossom into the kitty I know I can be. I get along very well with other cats, but can also be the only kitty in the home.
